Customer Service

Customer service is a variety of techniques used by businesses to ensure the customers satisfaction. This can vary from, showing a pleasant smile to working overtime to assure satisfaction. For many businesses today, this has become one of the key aspects of any business plan, especially for smaller businesses. Since the inception of globalisation, companies have found themselves in an opened playing field with other success driven organisations, who will go to no end, just to make it to the top. Companies brands are no longer chosen because of its indigenous affiliation or its superiority, but based on how well they can appeal to the customers liking.

If you look at it, a business that operates in an industry, with its competitors carrying the same product, with the same or similar features, are most of the times seen by the customer as the same; but what helps either one to succeed would be on how well they interact with the customers. So it is no longer a case of who is perceived to have the better brand, but on how well they are at selling that brand to the customer. The methods are limitless and can vary depending on the industry and the geographical location of the business, what will work for one company may not be so successful for another. One key aspect that determines these methods would of course be, the culture of the people, this in its self is a topic on its own, which will be discussed later on.
